Eighty-five millimeters of objective pulls in light most scopes can't touch, so the detail holds up at first light and last light - exactly when the good birds move. Run the zoom from 20x for a wide scan up to 60x to read a leg band or separate two peeps across a mudflat, and the HD glass stays honest all the way through the range.

The angled body is the quiet advantage: easier on your neck through a long session, simpler to share with the person next to you, and the right geometry for digiscoping - hold your phone to the eyepiece and the reach you're seeing is the reach you keep.
